Abroadia has invited several guests who have had ample experience with Cuba to speak about the current situation the country is in and prospects for revived relations with the US in the Trump era. Our discussion will take place on October 16th at 12pm EST. Our panelists include:

  • Elisabeth Stevens from Americans for Common Sense on Cuba

  • Colin Laverty from Cuba Educational Travel

  • Anaya Sesay, is a multimedia storyteller and public servant who explores how art, memory, and storytelling can recover what has been suppressed. Her work engages public memory, cultural preservation, international relations, and migrant rights, with a focus on how underserved communities design their own systems of resilience. She studied abroad in Cuba and wrote the article “The Case for Studying Abroad in Cuba”.

This event is FREE and open to anyone with an interest in Cuba. Register HERE.
